Serena

Director

Serena has been in the early childhood education field for over 13 years, most of which was spent teaching in the Montessori and Reggio Emelia philosophies. Her passions include art, gardening, and exploring. Serena has 3 wonderful children of her own and has just recently moved to the Skagit Valley.

Aniyah 

Sunflower Teacher

Aniyah has been working in childcare since 2018 and also has an amazing daughter. Her favorite part about working with kids is being a part of their growth and development. Outside of work Aniyah loves reading books and watching True Crime documentaries. 

Jessica

Cook

Jessica has been working in kitchens/bakeries for 13 years! She likes baking breads and cookies the most. She also has been doing roller derby for 15 years. 

 Marissa

Tulip Teacher

Marissa is bilingual and has worked in childcare for over eight years. She has a son & they enjoy outdoor activities. Marissa loves working with children & learning all their different personalities. 

Jennifer

Assistant Teacher

Jennifer has over 20 years of childcare experience. She has lived in Mount Vernon for a little over 5 years. Some of her favorite things to do are: hiking, reading, playing with her grandson, and dancing. 

 Gabby

Lavender Teacher

 Gabby is the newest addition to our team. She has brought with her a love of art and all things creative! She has been in the early childhood education field for over 5 years and loves what she does!
